In the preveiw for the next episode that played after the show, Lafayette was begging to be turned into a vampire. Wouldn't that be a hoot!! I love Lafayette.

As far as the rest of the episode, I'm not sure. I can't stand Jason, but I almost feel sorry for him. I will be interested to see how the Newlin angle plays out on screen since this is so different from the books. Jason didn't enter the church or even be approached by the Fellowship in the books...but it does give Allen Ball something to do with the actor. lol

As far as Anna...all I could think last night when she initially came to Bill and she had her hair in the side ponytail was that her head looked oversized for her body and it really bugged me. *dies*. Seriously. Her head distracted me from everything else...until Jessica came out in a towel.

I haven't read the books. I really should, though.

See, my problem with Bill has more to do with the actor than anything. I just don't like him. He's creepy and totally unsexy and cheesy to me. I actually dread his screen time.

Sookie, for me, is bearable when she's away from him. Together, their annoying-ness multiplies!

When I mentioned her being judgmental, I was mostly thinking of the time that Sam told her he was a... whatever he is, and she freaked out.

I can definitely see how the characters would be different in the books. A lot rides on the actor's portrayals.

I personally think that Sam is a hottie, and I too wish they would use him more.

But yeah, I'm totally with you on the love/hate for this show. I cringe at times, and yet I can't get enough! It's so weird.

Have you read the books? In the books, I kinda feel sorry for him after awhile. I think that's what they are building towards on the show.

Although I HATE Anna's portrayal of Sookie, I don't dislike the character Sookie. Anna makes her seem a lot more self-righteous than you get in the books. Even still, I don't think it was judgemental for her to get down on Bill about him killing a human.
A life is a life and Sookie knows there is value in that.

It's weird that I enjoy something that has me in such unclear positions. I like this but I don't like that. I like this character but I don't like what they did here.

I'm like that with almost everyone. I like certain things about Tara but other times, I can't stand watching her. In the books I love Sam and Eric but they've had pretty uninteresting storylines on the show so far.
