I agree about Bennett. She was over the top in her scenes with Echo/Caroline, I thought. But then her asperger-like qualities gave way to quirkiness around Topher. And yeah, the directing wasn't top notch. It's hard to follow Belonging! Jonathon Frakes did such a gorgeous job on that episode.

Perfectly put, I totally agree.
I was so anxious about this episodes because I so desperatly wanted them to be good. And the Echo/Perrin (pure HOTNESS), Topher/Victor, Topher/Adelle scenes were really fine. I don't care much about Summer Glau and thought her character was a bit too over the top, but the moments between her and Topher were quite adorable. Nevertheless I couldn't shake the feeling that both episodes weren't very well directed/structured and that the cutting of the scenes diminished some moments that could have been more powerful. But I got Alexis Denisof in lots of sexiness back on my TV, so I won't complain!

I think the reason that Bennett lets Echo and Perrin escape is because she knows that if she lets Topher take Echo home Bennett will have lost her change to kill her.

Also,I completely agree that the GPS strip scene was definitely the most erotic scene of the show. Especially on the second/third/etc viewing. ;)
